Check the power supply
One of the most vital parts of refrigerator repair is checking the power supply. To check the power supply, unplug the refrigerator and then check the power outlet. Another thing to check is the power cord, which runs from the wall outlet to the back of the refrigerator. Make sure there are no cracks, frays, or other signs of damage. If there are, it’s time to replace the cord as soon as possible. Finally, make sure that the circuit breaker hasn’t been tripped and that it’s not in an open position.
Check the thermostat

Check the condenser coils
The condenser coils are responsible for removing the heat from the inside of your refrigerator. If they become dirty, they will not be able to effectively remove the heat and your refrigerator will not be able to maintain the temperature it is set to. The coils that wrap around the sides of your refrigerator are visible if you unplug it. Using a soft brush or a vacuum, carefully clean the condenser coils. Once you have finished cleaning the coils, plug your refrigerator back in and it should now be running at the desired temperature.
