GlobalWorks Internship Locations

GlobalWorks International Internship Programs are highly customizable to meet each student’s unique career and personal goals. We guarantee placement in the student’s preferred sector and location. Some locations are only offered for specialized sectors, such as STEM, Pre-Med, and Public Health, where listed below. It is recommended that students choose two back-up locations in addition to their first choice before applying.

Virtual Internships

GlobalWorks also offers virtual internships with organizations overseas for students who do not wish, or are unable, to travel for an internship.

COVID-19 Travel Advisory

GlobalWorks International Internships have resumed at on-site locations around the world. 

Given possible COVID restrictions and/or company remote working policies, students might experience internships that are hybrid in nature, meaning that they go to the office 2-3 times per week and work remotely 2-3 times per week. This will be determined by the host company and will be unique to each student given their placement and industry. Students will have a suitable place to work remotely in their housing accommodation or they can choose to work in another location in their program city.
